Spring 2017 News Update

BbayFront1Hello Brighton Bay!

I hope all is well with everyone and looking forward to a fantastic Memorial Day!  I wanted to send a couple items and a few comments prior to this weekend.  Please find attached my previous email after our annual association meeting (in case you didn’t receive), an updated directory, the Operating Agreement, By-Laws and our Auto Debit Authorization Form (on website look under By-laws & Documents) .  If you wish to have your BBHOA dues automatically withdrawn from an account of your choosing, please complete this form, attach a voided check and mail to Jeff Moore at Baker, Davis and Roderique CPA firm in Joplin.

As mentioned previously, we’ve received a tremendous amount of rain over the past 45 days and it’s proven to be extremely difficult to stay on top of fallen limbs, shoreline debris and lawn maintenance in between rain showers every few days.  Jason and his crew are putting in a lot of OT and we appreciate their efforts.  There hasn’t been enough time in the day or days in the week to get everything done so expect more debris than we would all like to see but it’ll get cleaned up soon.  That said, if you see anything that needs immediate attention, please let Jason or me know and we’ll get it addressed.

Unfortunately, the exterminators have not been able to spray the docks as yet because walkways have been under water, but they are going to try and get it done this week.  I would also like to remind everyone that there will be a lot of smaller kiddos around this weekend and I’ve received a few calls concerning unleashed dogs, carts/mules going a bit too fast, etc.  Please keep that in mind and share with any guests that may not be familiar with our by-laws.

Debbie Hardman (Unit 11) has received another batch of remotes ($21/each) and visor clips ($4/each) for the front gate.  If you would like to purchase, please contact Debbie.

Finally, Julie Hinton is posting the directory and other pertinent information on our website as well (www.brighton-bay.com).  If there’s anything else you all would like to see on the website or have any comments/concerns, please let me know.

Thank you and have a great Memorial Day weekend!!
